In one line

A cricket game with real bounce, ten nations and a career from district cricket to Tests.

Short description

Stumped: Ultimate Cricket 27 is a free cricket game for phones, tablets, PCs and the browser. The ball bounces the way a real one does, every batter can try a scoop or a reverse sweep, and a career runs from your district side to the Test team. Play a six-ball Super Over in three minutes or a five-day Test across an evening.

About the game

Stumped: Ultimate Cricket 27 is a cricket game built around the ball. Its own physics engine, Googly, works out swing, seam, spin, pace off the pitch and bounce by length, so a bouncer climbs at the batter and a half-volley sits up to be driven. Batters play the shot the ball invites, and any of them can try the improvised shots of the modern game: the scoop, the ramp, the reverse sweep, the helicopter. Their skill decides whether it comes off. Ten real nations each have their own regions, domestic leagues and grounds, filled with made-up players and clubs. In My Career you create a player, start in your district, earn a franchise contract with form and wait for the call to your country. You can also build a club, bring players through an Academy and raise them with weekly Journeys, or play franchise seasons, a champions cup, tours and a World Cup. Matches run from a six-ball Super Over to a full five-day Test, with phased versions of the long formats. Two people can play on one screen. The game runs on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and in the browser, with touch, keyboard and controller controls.
